I've Been Lax

So I’ve been a horrible slacker with regards to this blog.  I’ve been terribly busy recently, but that’s not much of an excuse.  It seems that everytime I go to update wordpress I end up redoing my theme.  So once again I’m updated it and hopefully that will keep me from going months between posts.  It’s been a busy couple of months.  The Disc Golf season is pretty much over.  Since we’re here in the south you can pretty much play year rounds but at my age being out in 30 degree weather isn’t my idea of a good time.  I am planning on going to Mytle Beach for a tournament in December.

Horseshoe Farm Park

Tomorrow night 7pm @ Durant Road Middle School, Parks & Rec is having a meeting to discuss the ammenities that will go in Horseshoe Farm park. If you are a disc golfer you should be there. If you want a new course in Raleigh, you should be there.

Tournament Payout

The biggest complaint I hear from golfers always has to do with the payout at this event or that event. First of all every one of you is missing the reason you started playing in the first place. If you are playing to win plastic you are barking up the wrong tree. There are alot more efficient ways to get plastic than to pay $30 and play in a tournement to try to win some.

Yadkinville Open

I’ll be heading to the Yadkinville open this weekend, with Gangsta, Dodgeboy, and Heidi’s bitch. Should be a grand olde time as usual. Weather looks good and I’m not planning on carrying luggage down the stairs so I should be able to play. Hopefully I’ll keep my head in things and make a decent showing.
